Day 1 arrive San Jose, transfer to Arenal (3h). Days 1-3 Arenal: volcano views, hot springs, hanging bridges, waterfall rappel. Day 4 drive to Monteverde (4h -- slow road). Days 4-5 Monteverde: cloud forest canopy, zip lines, coffee farm. Day 6 drive to Manuel Antonio (4h). Days 6-8 Manuel Antonio: the best national park beaches in Costa Rica, sloths and monkeys easily spotted.
