The plan
Days 1-3 Ho Chi Minh City: War Remnants Museum, Cu Chi Tunnels day trip, Mekong Delta one-day tour. Day 4 fly Da Nang (1h15m), taxi 40m to Hoi An. Days 4-6 Hoi An: the old town, tailoring, a My Son ruins day trip. Day 7 fly Hanoi (1h20m). Days 7-9 Hanoi: Old Quarter, a Ha Long Bay overnight cruise. Days 10-12 optional Sapa trek or back to Hanoi for the return flight.
